ROI Advantage now has the ability to let publishers create their own custom conversion tracking pixels. Using this feature, a publisher is able to have any conversion they refer reported to another tracking system they may have. These pixels are capable to reporting a variety of information (including amount, ID, type of conversion, etc.) using the several preconfigured variables.
Simply put, for each referred conversion, ROIA will display publisher's supplied tracking pixel on the confirmation page along with the advertiser's existing tracking code. By placing the publisher's custom tracking pixel on the confirmation page, their tracking system is notified whenever they refer a conversion. Sometimes this feature is also referred as "echoing of a tracking pixel".
By using the ability to echo the advertiser tracking pixel, ROIA now allows a publisher to have more accurate reporting that can even be combined into their own tracking systems or even affiliate programs. This allows publishers to get a better idea of how they are performing as a publisher and how that affects other parts of their company/website.
